My Process

How I work

Each web design project I undertake brings with it a new challenge, however to keep things simple and give you an idea of how I work, I have created a process that helps keep things focused and on track.

  Initial Exploration & Cost Estimate

  It is important to understand your business and requirements. An initial 10 minute form and chat will help me quickly gauge your requirements and I’ll create a cost estimate based on this.

  Detailed Exploration

  Great, you’re happy with the initial proposal! I will find out as much about your business as I can at this point. Understanding your industry, your company’s goals and customers. This will help me do the best job I can! I will also produce a Project Overview Document which will define website structure and all agreed deliverables.

  Design

  Time to begin the design! Together with all the information I have gathered from you and your business I will create a homepage design for both mobile and desktop. Once signed off, I will create a full demo which will display designs for unique internal webpages. Revisions on the design can be carried out at this stage.

  Development

  I will then begin developing the site, ensuring the site search engine friendly. If you have content for the site, this is when you would send it over to me. Once complete I will send a demo link for you to review.

  Testing & Go Live!

  Once the site is ready to go live, it will go through a range of comprehensive pre-live checks and browser testing. I will then deploy the website onto your hosting.

  Documentation

  If you will be updating the site yourself, I will user guides with screenshots and support to make it as easy as possible for you to make your own changes.

• 7

  Ongoing Support

  I can continue to support your new website once it has gone live and review its performance through different support packages. This can either be on a monthly or an ad hoc basis. If you would like to know more about what I offer please get in touch!

I try and keep my prices affordable for clients, however design services and bespoke web design and builds will range in price depending on your requirements, so I will be happy to produce a cost estimate for you.
